Breast feeding help
These supplements were recommended to me to help with clogged milk ducts. I had been having issues every week and started taking these and haven't had issues since. I had read other places to take three capsules for a couple weeks and then try 2 for a couple weeks and then 1 to help find the right dose. I tried to go down to two and still had issues. I take 3 a day and have been very happy.

Good quality supplement, no side effects
I can't claim that taking the recommended 3 softgels daily (3.6g) was responsible for any measurable memory improvement, weight loss or lower cholesterol but I can say that doing so didn't hurt at all. While the benefits of Lecithin are being debated and research is ongoing, I am happy with NOW's product because it has no 'bad' ingredients such as sugar, corn starch, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives. NOW also states that their product is GMO-free - a good thing.Given the suggested serving size of 3 softgels, the 400 quantity should last for about 4 months if taken as suggested. The gels are easy to swallow and, since this Lecithin is extracted from soybeans, there is no aftertaste and I haven't experienced any digestive trouble.I am unaware of any negatives other than the lack of consensus on Lecithin's actual effectiveness but for a 'food supplement', not a miracle cure, this is a good product.

NOW - Sunflower Lecithin
I bought this in place of lecithin powder and it is much easy to take since they are in gel cap form rather than granule. I find the granules of other brands (solgar) hard to swallow since the don't really dissolve into the liquid. I think this is a great product in combination with other daily vitamins. Lecithin is a vegge surfactant.
I have used lecithin for a very long time. A friend at the VA said the Granules were more effective and so I tried them. They are. When Lecithin hits my system, I start loosing heavy grease when I sweat and that does tell me what the effectiveness of the Lecithin is. My cholesterol indicates I have normal triglyceride's and very low cholesterol and as a non-doctor, I insist.. it lowers my cholesterol. Top to learn more

Great product but taste differs!
'Now' lecithin granules are far much better than liquid lecithin I tried from 'Fearn' company. In fact, I think anyone would be better off with generally granules than liquid as this fatty substance has a hard time dissolving, and chewing granules is almost like food when trying to swallow it, where liquid coats your throat, teeth, and tongue to the point where it's greasy and unpleasant long lingering sensation. Liquid also leaves a bad fatty, hard to scrub off residue on a glass wall or spoon even after washing with soap and a good scrub, there is still that greasy feeling left behind, sorta of like 'waxy'. One thing I noticed is that my first NOW container had excellent taste and granule size (coarse size), where my second container some months later had a smaller size particle (almost fine) and not as pleasant taste as the first container. So batch to batch will differ! Also, once you open granules, keep them in the fridge to prevent from going rancid! As I did research on... Top to learn more

I've been taking this product for over two months now for bi-polar and have noticed improved concentration and moods as well as healthier skin, nails and hair. Better alternative to soy
Lecithin is more commonly found in a soy version; sunflower lecithin is the better form.I was taking 4/day for a couple weeks and now 1 capsule/day to manage a rather large galactocele (milk breast cyst). Lecithin is thought to reduce the stickiness of breastmilk. This could be helpful for nursing mothers who experience blocked milk ducts, mastitis, and galactoceles. Top to learn more
