Works like a charm
Initially, I was very skeptical about Sea-Bands; it seemed a little too New Age, hocus-pocus for me. But given that over the counter anti-seasickness meds make me a zombie, it seemed worth a try.I was pleasantly surprised. They're a little uncomfortable at first, but I got used to them quickly. While using them, I experienced no seasickness until I got a little cocky and tried taking them off. Within minutes, I thought better of this and put them back on and the nausea cleared up.The directions are clear, and the product is effective.E.M. Van Court

Great for Cruising
So my husband and I were going on a cruise for the first time for our anniversary, and while we were really excited, my husband was a little nervous about getting motion sick. You have to understand my husband gets motion sick in a car, on a boat, on a treadmill, on a plane, on the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland! So I ordered these and they arrived the day before we headed out, he tested them out while I drove us from Phoenix, AZ to Long Beach, CA (he always gets car sick when I drive), but shockingly with the bands he was FINE!!! We are a bit skeptical and never believed in accupressure, but it worked!! On the ship, he only got queezy once in the casino in the front of the ship, and mind you, the room was filled with cigarette smoke, but once he left he was better. He has used dramamine in the past, but it makes you so tired its hardly worth it, and besides, once your already sick, Dramamine is useless. Great Product
A neighbor lent me some of these for a cruise that I was on. Since I didn't need them on other cruises, I didn't think I would need them but brought them just in case. During the cruise, I found that I did need them and they worked immediately. As soon as I put them on, any queasiness went away. I recommend them for anyone going on a cruise even if you don't get seasick as a rule.

To my surprise, they worked- even for a skeptic.
My husband and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. About 1/2 an hour after the ship sailed, I became quite seasick. My husband went to the on-board store to get Dramamine or whatnot. They were all out. He brought back the only thing left: Sea Bands. I said "what is this ridiculous Voodoo, it'll never work, plus they don't even remotely match my outfit." We both laughed at them, but I was willing to try anything at that point, so on they went. About 20 minutes later, I was noticeably better, and about 40 minutes later, I was completely cured. I wore them for the remainder of the trip and told anyone who even remotely looked seasick to try them. The ship ran out of these, so occasionally I would let someone borrow them for a few hours or a 1/2 day....as long as I knew their room number and they promised NOT to steal these magical things from me!!! Works great!!
These worked great, and they are so easy to use. Just make sure you follow the directions, and they stay in the correct place. The two people who normally get seasick didn't. One of the bands slipped out of place on my other daughter- she got a bad headache. So, we know that the ones that stayed in place for all of us did work!

I am actually able to leave the house!
I suffer from some pretty intense morning sickness. Only, it doesn't just occur in the morning-- it stays with me all day! Some days it is difficult for me to get out of bed even to do the necessary things like grocery shopping or taking out the trash. Sea Bands don't get rid of the nausea, but they make it so much more bearable. I was even able to make a trip to L.A. with my husband, taking the winding canyon roads no less!

Worked as expected
I'm not sure if my 3 year old would have gotten sea sick or not, but she didn't while wearing these, so I have to assume they worked. My only small gripe is that there are different colors and you can't choose what color you want. I got pink, had I been buying for a boy he would have been pretty upset I'm sure. Amazon lets you pick colors of other stuff, why not these?

Really Works!
I have struggled with motion sickness all of my life, but only recently discovered that applying pressure to this specific pressure point relieved the nausea. I use the adult wrist bands myself when I go on trips or on a boat, so when my future step son kept getting car sick, I knew he needed the same thing. I looked everywhere locally for the child size wrist bands but couldn't find them anywhere. I was so relieved to find them on Amazon and for a great price! We have now stocked up and he wears one every time he gets in the car. He is 3 year old, they fit perfectly, and he loves wearing them. Now instead of getting sick 100% of the time in the car, it is a rarity. These are a definite must for any travel!

a bit misleading
I ordered these because of the more expensive price and the fact that the title says 2 count, I thought that I was getting 2 sets...perhaps the wording should say 1 pair...Also I got Blue which is okay but would have preferred pink Amazon should allow consumers to choose their colors.

Lifesaver
These wrist bands were a lifesaver on our first long driving trip with our 3 year old. I thought she would complain but she loved them! She didn't get sick once while wearing them and we continue to use them for long car rides.They are a bargain as well!

Feeling better
So far so good. We have had the bands now for a few weeks and the episodes of motion sickness in the car for my 5 year old are mostly gone. We have a long car trip planned for next week so that will be the real test. He likes them. They came quickly too. Wish you could specific girl or boy but we lucked out and got orange ones.

No Difference in Size From Adult Ones
I've used these before, borrowed from a friend. We were on a boat and my 7 year old got seasick. We put them on and within 20 minutes he was fine. These really do work for us. I see some reviews where they didn't, and the only guess I can make is that, like medication, not everything works for everyone. I like the fact that they're drug-free. I also feed him ginger (both crystalized and pickled) and that works very well for nausea too. The problem with ginger is that its a strong flavor, and a little sharp on the tongue. I happen to have a 7 year old who loves it, but most won't. Also, the ginger is perishable, where I can keep these in my purse or glove box indefinitely. I highly recommend these. And, the shipping was super-fast.The reason for only 4 stars is: I ordered these for my son, and, from another retailer, the "adult" size for me. They are the exact same size, and the exact same size as my friend's "adult" ones. So, I paid 2 separate shipping...

Wouldn't travel without them!
Acupressure has been around forever and the Sea Band Wristbands work on this principle - I'm not sure why pressure on the wrists helps with nausea associated with traveling.....but it does and I wouldn't travel by train, plane or boat without them. I suppose you could take anti-nausea drugs (which tend to makeyou incredibly sleepy) but why do that when these work without any side effects?Just remember to actually take the time to read the directions and place them on your wrists correctly.

If I think it works, I guess it does.
I have very bad vertigo. I bought my first pair of these in Hong Kong in 1996 to go on a boat ride in the harbor. I just had to replace them in 2010 so they obviously hold up well.I use them for boat rides mostly. They seem to work. I just follow the directions that come with the bands. I sometimes wonder if it is in my head that they work, but I figure if I believe that they work, then they must work.Buy them. Try them. If you don't like them, you aren't out that much $$$.

Worked for a very tough customer
I've been really impressed with the ginger gum. I have a history of motion sickness made much worse recently by some medications I'm taking, and I was facing a 10 hr car ride with much trepidation. My doctor prescribed an Rx for nausea relief, but I ended up not even needing it. I had my pressure point wristbands on as usual and chewed the ginger gum for most of the ride, and I was good - not reading in the car or anything crazy like that, but OK. In general, I really don't like ginger, and have been unable to tolerate ginger chews, but this was ok - I even started to like it, and now I chew it every time I get in the car. I actually wish the flavor would last longer. I could definitely see how some kids might find it too strong, but my 10 yr old nephew tried it when he felt sick on a ferry recently, and he asked for it again before we got on the boat on the way back. I was surprised, but anyone who has issues with motion sickness knows that if it works, it's worth just about anything.

works for me
I've suffered from motion sickness as far back as I can remember. For years I have taken ginger root capsules before any trip longer than 20 min if someone else is driving. I saw these in a pharmacy last year (it seems they are no longer available locally) and decided to give them a try. They work for me. Also, my younger child suffers from motion sickness. He can't swallow capsules yet, but this gum works for him. It does have a strong, spicy flavor, (having some water at hand helps) but it goes away in a few minutes of chewing. My son asks for it because it works.
